Mimicry is an interactive installation displaying a series of digital paintings. As someone approaches the screen, the painting comes to life and reacts to the viewer’s expressions. Mimicry was produced through a collaboration between the Media Design Master program at the Geneva University of Art and Design, the Computer Graphics and Geometry Laboratory (LGG) at EPFL, and the facial tracking startup Faceshift AG.

The project itslef has been realized by Emilie Joly from Apelab and Raphaël Munoz. Informations on exhibits and videos can be found on the Mimicry website.
